Full Stack Developer & Cyber Security
Dominic Technology2022 — Present- Build and ship full stack web applications end to end with React, Next.js, Node.js, Express and MongoDB — from data model and REST API through to a deployed, monitored site.
- Delivered a donation platform for a client with an admin dashboard for content, customers and payments, integrating the M-Pesa and Pesapal gateways.
- Built an inventory management system, a food delivery site and a video streaming platform, plus a complete e-commerce application in Django with Bootstrap, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Write secure code by default — input validation, parameterised queries, password hashing, secure sessions and role-based access control — to close SQL injection, XSS, IDOR and command injection paths.
- Threat model features before building them and run static analysis with Bandit and Semgrep over application code and configuration.
- Test, deploy and maintain client sites on Linux servers: Nginx, systemd, SSH hardening, firewalls, DNS, SSL certificates and CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimise sites for search engines and Core Web Vitals through technical SEO, structured data, image and bundle optimisation, tracked in Search Console, Analytics and Lighthouse.
- Translate designs into pixel-accurate, accessible and responsive interfaces, and use AI agents to move from idea to reviewed, working code faster.
